Michter’s US Sour Mash

Sour Mash was incredibly popular from the '70s onwards last century, but later disappeared from store shelves. The folks at Michter’s recently revived it, and it’s now back in their permanent portfolio. The whiskey is very pleasant and balanced, with notes of candied almonds, cinnamon spice and vanilla sweetness. The finish is long and memorable.
