Glenfiddich 14YO Bourbon Barrel Reserve
€14,00
Glenfiddich 14-year-old single malt Scotch whisky. Glenfiddich is the world's best-selling whisky in the 'single malt' category. It offers aromas of freshness and fruit thanks to its maturation in American and Spanish oak casks for a minimum of 14 years.
The quality of these casks is exceptionally high, as an experienced team of coopers cares for each one. You can detect elegant aromas with hints of fresh pears and spicy oak. The colour is golden, the aroma distinctively fresh and fruity with a suggestion of pear.
The taste has a characteristic sweetness and fruit notes. These develop into elements of vanilla, malt, and just detectable oak. The finish is long, smooth, and sweet.
Glenfiddich (meaning 'Valley of the Deer' in Old Scots Gaelic) is one of three William Grant-owned whisky distilleries located relatively close together - north of Dufftown, the spiritual heart of Speyside.
Founded in 1886 by William Grant, the Glenfiddich distillery is one of only three that bottle on-site, with stills having a combined annual capacity of ten million litres. Furthermore, Glenfiddich whisky matures in over 40 of its own local warehouses, with a total holding capacity of 800,000 casks.
