Ardbeg 10 Year Old is revered as one of the most peaty and smoky whiskies coming from the Isle of Islay. An absolute classic, one of the most complex single malts, which does not emphasise its strong peaty flavour, but rather the natural sweetness of the malt and the perfect balance.
Most whiskies undergo chill filtration and are reduced to 40% alcohol. Ardbeg 10 Year Old does not undergo chill filtration and is at 46% alcohol, which gives it a strong body, with depth and maximised flavour.

Colour- Light golden
Aroma- Intense aroma of peat and smoke, notes of lemon zest and lime, wrapped in dark chocolate. If you delve deeper you will enjoy aromas of smoked fish and crispy bacon, together with green peppers, grilled pineapple and pear juice.
Taste- Soft, with an explosion of smoky flavour, lemon juice, lime, whole black pepper, cinnamon and spicy caramel.
Finish- Very long and smoky, strong espresso, salted caramel, roasted almonds.
