The single malt whisky Aberlour 12 Years Non Chill Filtered is a variant of the usual 12-year-old Aberlour, which not only changes the proportions of the various whiskies used to make this edition, but also is bottled without chill filtration at 48%. This means this expression of Aberlour retains all the body and flavor of the cask whisky, although it may become cloudy if water, an ice cube is added, or if it is chilled at a low temperature.
Color - Golden amber with shades of deep ruby red.
Aroma - Rich and fruity with notes of strawberry jam.
Taste - Sherry character and fruity aromas of plum, balanced with chocolate, caramel, cinnamon, and raisins.
Finish - Long, sweet with a spicy finish.
