Aberlour 18 Year Old was launched in 2008, having previously been available only on the French market. This is the richest and smoothest expression from the distillery, distinguished by a remarkable depth and a clean, fresh, and fruity aroma. Recognised as one of the finest in its range, winning a "Gold Medal & Best in Class" at the International Wine & Spirit Competition. It matures in high-quality bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks.
Colour- Rich golden-brown.
Aroma- Many sherry fruits, spiced oak, orange peel, ripe apricot, and toffee.
Taste- Rich and chocolaty, creamy, soft apricot, honey, cinnamon, pecan, toasted oak. The palate delivers a very smooth experience.
Finish- Very long and balanced, with crème brûlée notes and spicy oak.
