Glenfiddich Project XX is the second release in the distillery's Experimental Projects series. The result of the Master Distiller's unconventional decision - all 20 of Glenfiddich's brand ambassadors from 16 different countries each select a single distinct cask from the distillery warehouses, which Master Distiller Brian Kinsman then marries into one exceptional single malt.
Various bourbon, port, and sherry casks combine their characteristic aromas into this deeply inquisitive dram, with a fruity, smooth profile and notes of cinnamon, vanilla, dark chocolate.
Colour- Dark, deep gold.
Aroma- Classic Speyside aromas, cut grass, pear, vanilla, raisin, dried apricots, butter.
Taste- Grapefruit, caramel fudge, vanilla, and cinnamon. A light texture with dominant flavours of raisins, dates, nuts, apples, plums, milk chocolate.
Finish- Long-lasting with predominant sweet chocolate tones and a palette of autumn fruits - apples, pears, dessert grapes.
