In addition to its flavor, every bottle of Maker's Mark is hand-sealed in red wax. The Maker's Mark distillery is the first distillery in America. It is also recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records as the "Oldest Bourbon Distillery in the USA in Continuous Operation Since its Founding."
