Aromatic notes of oat oak with a hint of vanilla. A light, spicy aroma with a hint of butterscotch and vanilla. The finish is short and warm. In addition to its taste, each bottle of Maker's Mark is hand-sealed in red wax. The Maker's Mark distillery is the first distillery in America. It is also recorded in the Guinness Book of Records as the "Oldest continuously operating bourbon distillery in the USA since its founding".
