In the mountainous part of the Upper Penedès, more delicate and aromatic white varieties are grown. Moscatel and Gewürztraminer form the basis of Viña Esmeralda, an exceptionally delicate and strikingly fragrant wine.
The aroma is sensual, with an exotically fragrant nose, featuring beautifully well-defined primary aromas (floral notes, roses, lily), complemented by secondary aromas extracted through the wine's controlled fermentation.
The taste? - Wonderful freshness, an upfront attack, a delicate taste of green fruit and lemon, citrus fruits, and aromas of green apple and kiwi. The minerality provides a long finish to the wine, and its softness and elegance are characteristics of all the producer's wines.
Aged for 4 months on the lees in stainless steel tanks at the cellar.
