In the mountainous part of Upper Penedès, more delicate and aromatic white varieties are cultivated. Muscat and Gewürztraminer are the base of Viña Esmeralda, an exceptionally delicate and strikingly fragrant wine.
The aroma is sensual, an exotically scented nose, with magnificently well-defined primary aromas (floral notes, roses, lily), complemented by secondary aromas extracted through controlled fermentation of the wine.
The taste? - Wonderful freshness, open attack, delicate taste of green and lemon, citrus fruits, aroma of green apple and kiwi. The minerality gives a long finish to the wine, while softness and elegance are characteristics of all the producer's wines.
Aged for 4 months on the lees in stainless steel tanks in the cellar.
