Aberlour 14 Year Old Double Cask matures in two types of casks - the finest Oloroso sherry casks and first-fill American oak, and are then 'married' together in the classic way. One of the most awarded Aberlour whiskies, it perfectly complements their portfolio of classic 'double cask' single malts - Aberlour 12 year old and Aberlour 18 year old.
Color - Deep amber.
Aroma - Juicy ripe cherries, citrus fruits and marzipan with the characteristic Aberlour, developing into butterscotch and lightly spicy oak.
Taste - Creamy and smooth, gentle caramel, spices, blackberry jam, a buttery pastry that melts in the mouth.
