Aberlour 14 Year Old Double Cask matures in two types of casks – the finest Oloroso sherry casks and first-fill American oak, and are then 'married' together in the classic way. One of Aberlour's most awarded whiskies, it perfectly complements their portfolio of classic "double cask" single malts - Aberlour 12 year old and Aberlour 18 year old.
Colour- Deep amber.
Aroma- Juicy ripe cherries, citrus fruits and marzipan with the characteristic Aberlour profile, developing into butterscotch and lightly spicy oak.
Taste- Creamy and buttery, gentle caramel, spices, raspberry jam, a buttery toffee that melts in the mouth.
Finish- Long, sweet, perfectly balanced with vanilla and a tart egg custard.
