Aberlour 12 Years Non Chill Filtered single malt whisky is a variant of the usual 12-year-old Aberlour whisky, which not only changes the proportions of the different whiskies used to make this edition, but also is bottled without chill filtration at 48% ABV. This means this expression of Aberlour retains the full body and flavor of the cask-strength whisky, although it may become cloudy if water, an ice cube is added, or if it is chilled at low temperature.
Color: Golden amber with hues of intense ruby red.
Aroma: Rich and fruity with notes of strawberry jam.
Taste: Sherry character and fruity aromas of plum, balanced with chocolate, caramel, cinnamon, and raisins.
Finish: Long, sweet with a spicy finale.
