The single malt whisky Aberlour 12 Years Non Chill Filtered is a variant of the usual Aberlour 12-year-old whisky, which not only alters the proportions of the different whiskies used to make this edition, but is also bottled non-chill filtered at 48%. This means that this expression of Aberlour retains the full body and flavour of the whisky from the cask, even though it may become cloudy if water is added, an ice cube is dropped in, or if it is chilled to a low temperature.
Colour - Golden amber with nuances of deep ruby red.
Aroma- Rich and fruity with notes of strawberry jam.
Taste- Sherry character and fruity flavours of plum, balanced with chocolate, caramel, cinnamon and raisins.
Finish- Long, sweet with a spicy finale.
