The Aberlour 12 Years Non Chill Filtered single malt is a variation of the usual 12-year-old Aberlour whiskey, not only changing the proportions of the different whiskies used to make this edition, but also bottling it without chill filtration at 48%. This means that this expression of Aberlour retains all the body and flavor of the cask whiskey, though it may become cloudy if water, an ice cube is added, or if chilled at low temperature.
Color - Golden amber with hues of intense ruby red.
Aroma - Rich and fruity with notes of strawberry jam.
Taste - Sherry character and fruity aromas of plum, balanced with chocolate, caramel, cinnamon and raisins.
Finish - Long, sweet with a spicy finale.
