Aberlour A’Bunadh
€12.00
The Aberlour Distillery was founded in 1879 by James Fleming, who had 10 years of experience at Dailuaine. At first glance, "A'Bunadh" sounds strange, but actually the word comes from Gaelic and means "origin." Aberlour A'Bunadh is created to honor the distillery's long history and its founder, using authentic 19th-century distillation methods - non-chill filtered and bottled at cask strength - 60% abv or higher. The whiskey is non-age-stated, but blends various 5 to 25-year-old whiskies and matures in Oloroso sherry casks.
Numerous awards distinguish this offering - Silver Medal, Best Single Malt Scotch whisky No Age Statement (NAS), World Whiskies Awards 2019. Aberlour A'Bunadh is produced in limited batches, and each bottle's label bears the batch number from which it comes.
Color of amber with ruby nuances.
Aroma of dark chocolate and spices.
Taste of plenty of sherry, citrus fruits, lime and grapefruit.
Finish is long with oak, chocolate, dark fruits.
