The name itself is dedicated to the namesake square in Pennsylvania, but that's not the main reason for the brand's popularity – the taste is the defining factor. The whiskey itself carries the term Bottled in Bond, which pays homage to some of the oldest agreements between the US Government and local whiskey producers. Although part of the past, these agreements are still applied today with the idea of being a guarantee of quality – but we won't bore you with unnecessary bureaucratic requirements, we'll just mention that every Bottled in Bond whiskey like this one must have an alcohol strength of exactly 50%.
