  • light floral and spicy notes.
The finish is soft, refreshing, with almost imperceptible bitterness.

History
The recipe dates back to 1445, when monks in the Belgian village of Hoegaarden began brewing wheat beer with coriander and orange peel. After production nearly disappeared in the 20th century, in 1966 local dairyman Pierre Celis revived the original style and turned Hoegaarden into one of the most popular Belgian beers in the world.

Interesting Fact
The hexagonal glass of Hoegaarden is specially designed with a thick bottom to keep the beer colder for longer and to enhance its rich foam and aroma.
